How to be positive in this pandemic.

These two years has been hard for everyone, not being able to go out as you wish, education and work moving online, people losing their jobs. while so much is happening, it is natural that you get negative, and lose all your motivation. This is where I come, it is not only about be productive but also becoming one with your soul.

during the pandemic I learned a lot of new strategies to heal myself from the growing everyday negativity, now I won't be telling you all to write a journal about your feelings, or exercise because even I couldn't stick to these methods for long.
1) try to take out time for yourself where you just sit down, maybe read a book or take a long relaxing bath without worrying about the world.
It is such a small thing but I personally follow this ritual religiously because a healthy body needs relaxed mind. Even if you are a student, and you are currently relaxing or maybe enjoying some sort of personal activity, you might think why do I need to do something like this, let me clear it for you. it is not you but your mind that needs break from all the hard work it does throughout the days without taking a break. so my lovely human being who is reading this give a break to your mind and body to just get in sync with each other.
2) spending time with your family, even if you are far apart like I am usually, call on FaceTime, or messenger (oldie! I know but who cares) just communicate with the people you love, adore, and miss. life is too short so don't just flow with the ruthless ways of this world. your family is the base, and no matter where you go, you need to come back home today or tomorrow.
3) Being productive is a good time pass. Now you must be like has she lost her mind, who in a sane mind would like be productive as a time pass, but trust me instead of sitting and watching stuff that can make you cranky or more scared of the pandemic. DO NOT WATCH that stuff, since it will only contribute in you being more anxious, but it also doesn't mean that you are complete unaware of your surrounding. Have the minimal knowledge that is necessary, you don't need to write a report on pandemic. now being productive doesn't mean you are studying or working but rather doing something that you enjoy. for example I personally like cleaning and cooking so I spend my free time doing that instead of lounging on the couch and watching Netflix. not that Netflix is not fun, but too much of anything isn't good for you.
so these were my three tips in handling the pandemic. stay safe and enjoy your life. if you ever feel like you are alone please do not hesitate to tell your loved once because no matter what they have your back.
