While many people get excited about having basic knowledge about their rights in this world, but some decide to go forward with the urge to learn new and completed stuff. I have an idea if you would be interested in my story, and the idea was pretty obvious, NO!
Many students around the world dream of visiting London, or studying in UK, and many are successful in achieving that, but there can be many reason for which a person can decide to forfeit their right, can be due to financial issues, or just the fact that they can't live far from their parents.
UK's education is considered one of the top places to get education from , that's where law comes in. I went to UK pretty early with the hopes of one day being able to stand on my own feet, but the dream where I used to think it is going to be easy tand I have skills to adjust full were ruined the moment I stepped out of the airport, and their was no one to help me wit my luggage, and no dad to put the luggage in the trunk of the car. I felt utterly hopeless, and in that moment I had two choices to make either I can decide to rum away from the life changing experience, or I can tighten my jeans and get my sh*t together.
With the title I think you can imagine my choice. it was the latter one.
University was everything like people told me, make new friends, party, study, and enjoy the 3 years of your life, but....
there was also the part where I had to spend all nighters studying, waking up for class in a hangover, and much more. the bustling streets of London, and the weird humid rainy weather, the spilling out trains from busy people, who would be walking at 60km/hr speed (not really but speed walking was a thing).
Now, my university is in the middle of the infamous Oxford Circus, I know how exciting, right? NO, that is the exact opposite of that, it was torturous to visit Oxford Circus three times a week at 10 am.
Law is nothing like people would tell you, it is not easy but doesn't mean it is the hardest thing on the planet, lots of reading is a given, filling your notebook with questions for your tutor is understandable, and the at least 16 hour of studying per module/subject can get you the grades that you desire. do all students do that?
well honestly, the answer would be NO, we don't study like we don't have a life.
a trick that always works is doing little throughout the term so you can get good grades. usually much of the material is already provided buy the library in rare cases you have to buy a book or relevant stuff.
And NO, you do not become a lawyer/ barrister/ solicitor after the LLB bachelors, but you are half way their so don't give up and keep thriving. knowing the result, you would be more motivated in completing the degree, and reaching an end.
If you wish to know stuff in more detail let me know, I will tell you more about the quality of the education in the united kingdom.
bye see you soon
I post every Sunday and Friday so look forward to it.
